The Evaluation Unit
Management and Control Bodies
The Evaluation Unit assesses administrative management, the quality and effectiveness of the academic offer, and measures to support the right to education, verifying – including through comparative analyses of costs and performance – the productivity of teaching.
The Unit is composed of five members, comprising:
- three members external to IASA, appointed by the Board of Directors on a proposal from the Rector, following the opinion of the Academic Senate, chosen from among scholars and experts in the field of evaluation, including outside the academic sphere;
- two members internal to IASA, appointed by the Board of Directors on a proposal from the Rector, following the opinion of the Academic Senate; the coordinator is appointed from among these members.
The Unit serves a three-year term from the date of appointment. Members may be reappointed only once.
