The General Manager
On the basis of guidelines provided by the Rector and the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for the overall management and organisation of the School's services, instrumental resources and technical and administrative staff.
The General Manager is selected from individuals of high professional standing with proven, long-standing experience in senior management roles, and is appointed by the Board of Directors, following the opinion of the Academic Senate and on the basis of a proposal by the Rector.
Current general Manager
The current General Manager of IASA is Dr Sabrina Saccomandi.
Dr Saccomandi, born in Teramo in 1969, holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Chieti “G. D'Annunzio”, graduating with first-class honours (110/110 cum laude).
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 at the University “G. D'Annunzio”, she went on in 2000 to obtain a Postgraduate Specialisation Diploma in Administrative Law and Public Administration from the Faculty of Law of the University of Teramo, with a specialisation thesis in Public Economic Law graded 70/70.
In 2000, she qualified as a Statutory Auditor, registered under No. 119,780 in the “Register of Statutory Auditors” – now the Register of Legal Auditors held by the State General Accounting Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance – having passed the qualifying examination set by the Ministry of Justice.
Dr Saccomandi has more than 25 years of consolidated experience in the management, administration and coordination of public administrations and businesses, including in the fields of research and innovation and European subsidised finance.
An expert in economic planning policy and in the programming of national and cohesion policy funds, and a consultant in European project design, she has developed specific expertise in public management and as a legal auditor. Since 2016, she has also held a teaching contract in European Project Design Techniques at the San Raffaele Roma Open University, and is the author of several scientific publications.
